This page sets out how content on CricDamamla is produced.

People publish, software does not

Every article on this site is written and published by a person. There is no automated publishing pipeline, no scheduled content generation, and no daily article quota to fill. An editor decides what is worth writing, writes it, and publishes it.

Where data comes from

Cricket data is drawn from openly licensed datasets, official governing-body listings, and public reference pages. Each source is recorded against the record it produced, and each data-led page shows when it was last refreshed.

We store facts and links. We do not copy article text or images from other cricket publications. Where an editor has read a third-party report while researching a piece, that report is credited as a reference with a link, and the article is written in our own words from the underlying facts.

Use of drafting tools

Editors have access to an AI drafting assistant inside our admin panel. It is given structured facts, not somebody else's article, and it produces a first draft that an editor then rewrites, checks and takes responsibility for. It is never used to rewrite another publication's work, and it cannot publish anything.

We do not publish invented quotes, invented statistics, invented milestones or invented announcements. Where a fact cannot be confirmed, we leave it out or say plainly that it is unconfirmed.

Attribution

Articles carry a named author and a publication date. When an article is materially changed after publication, the update date is shown alongside.

Advertising

The site carries advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no influence over what we publish, and we do not accept payment for coverage. Any content that were ever sponsored would be labelled as such.
