Anaya posted n her social media account how the process of determining her gender was such a struggle given the society’s expectations of women. For years I struggled with what I was and what I was to become. Today I am Anaya, I am gay and I am loving myself,” she captioned the post.
Her message reached out many people and many citizens of this country and some of the other continents supported her. Most notably, Anaya has shared her transition with the world not only to showcase her strength but to encourage appreciation of the need for diversity and acceptance all across the world.
The cricket community which is highlighted to enjoy the devotion of its fans and requires traditional cultural promotion has also welcomed the statement of Anaya. Fans and several former teammates offered her praise for her bravery and encouraged her to establish the right place for everyone.
