Eshan Malinga is a 23-year-old Sri Lankan cricketer who has been making significant strides in the cricketing world. Born on February 4, 2001, in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, he stands at 5 feet 10 inches (178 cm) and weighs approximately 70 kg (154 lbs).
In his personal life, Eshan is in a relationship with Hiruni Rasangi.
Eshan started his cricketing journey at Sivali Central College in Ratnapura, where he demonstrated his talent by leading his school team to numerous victories. A notable achievement during his school years was in March 2019, when he took 11 wickets for 63 runs in an inter-school match.
Eshan represented Airtel Fastest Pace bowling program in October 2019, when he was recorded as the fastest bowler of the Under-19 category, bowling at a speed of 141 kph (87.6 mph).
Made his first-class debut for Ragama Cricket Club in the 2022–23 Major League Tournament on September 2, 2022.
