Tim David – explosive batsman, as most people know him has been a big name of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After his stint in the Mumbai Indians, Tim David was bought for an amount of ₹8.25 crore. However, for the 2025 IPL auction, he did receive a massive pay-cut and was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for ₹3 crore, which is a whooping 63% pay cut from the last season.
This acquisition isn’t David’s first association with RCB. In 2021, he became the first Singapore-born player to join the IPL, replacing Finn Allen in the RCB lineup.
