Simran Bahadur, born on December 13, 1999, in New Delhi, has emerged as a promising talent in Indian women’s cricket. A right-arm medium bowler and left-handed batter, she is known for her bowling abilities.
Her journey to the international arena started in February 2021, when she received her maiden call-up to the Indian women’s cricket team for the limited-overs series against South Africa. She made her Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut on March 20, 2021, against South Africa.

In January 2022 Simran was named as part of a three-member reserve in India’s squad for Women’s Cricket World Cup of New Zealand. She made her one day Women’s International debut, with her first WODI taking place on February 15, 2022 against New Zealand.
Simran was signed by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) for the 2024 season. She played six matches in the season, bowling six balls and giving away 11 runs without a wicket. With the bat, she scored three runs in two innings, maintaining a batting average of 3.00.
As of December 2024, Simran played one WODI and six WT20I matches for India. For WT20Is, she bowled 90 balls and has taken one wicket with an average of 126.00 and maintained an economy rate of 8.40. Using the bat, she got to score 10 runs in one innings with her top score of 10, bringing in a batting average of 10.00.
