The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have made significant strides in the IPL 2025 season, assembling a formidable squad that blends seasoned internationals with promising young talents. This strategic mix aims to elevate their performance and challenge the league’s top contenders.
A standout acquisition is Rishabh Pant, who joined LSG for a record-breaking ₹27 crore, making him the most expensive player in IPL history. His batting skills along with his leadership talent is expected to be decisive for the team. Besides Pant, the West Indian wicket-keeper-batter Nicholas Pooran has been signed for ₹21 crore. The same list includes the retention of Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi and young pacer Mayank Yadav to strengthen the bowling section.
